CSCC #12 - Let's get 'Pinspired'

Hello friends!
This is Vinita here! Now, it's my turn to share my creation for this month challenge!
I am very much inspired by colors, ballerina dress, beauty, dreams to make my LO from this pinspired photo!!! I have made a beautiful décor LO for any little girl's bedroom!
First of all, I have made this layered skirt out of nylon stretchable ribbon and maybe it'll inspire you to create your own! So pretty!  I cut 4 equal pieces and used E6000 for pasting. Then double folded it  to create pleats and stitched it properly.

I took a 8"x11.5" cardboard. Tear the random section of the different DP's to adhere for a layout and applied mod podge on it.. Randomly paint the edges using acrylic paints. I added some music stamping, honeycomb stenciling, bubble wrapper effects randomly using white acrylic paint to create some interest.  Then I stenciled the sentiment in two different inks and highlighted this beautiful saying with diamond stickles for shinning. Added some stenciling pattern with pigment inks.

Colored the chipboard piece using gelato and acrylic paints with textures.
I attatched a polka dotted top at the bodice chipboard piece, inked the edges using distress ink, this helped it stand out more on the LO.  then added my handmade little flowers at the waist belt, every dress needed a stand of pearls! And attached the back of the bodice to make it look more...Ooh La La!
I painted my frame in white acrylic paint with glitter texture on it and adhered it with pop dots. Added some lace, crochet handmade flowers and distressed it. At the top most corner at the right side I added a pair of shoes stamped on a white CS and glossy accent it and popped it up! To finished it up I added couple of beaded wire, pearls, butterfly, small flowers and added a border all over the outer edges of this LO!!
I enjoyed this creation so much !

Guest Designer - Jasleen Kaur

Hello my dear friends! Happy Sunday to you all..
This is Deepti and I'm happy to invite our guest designer

She is one of the most coolest crafters I have ever met on the blogland. I love her cardmaking style a lot.. She made a fabulous card for the current challenge here at

For more details please click here..

Alright! Here is a little bit about Jasleen.. ;)

Hello dear friends and fellow crafters, I'm Jasleen and most of you know me through my blog- Happily Ever Crafter

I have been blogging since August 2013 and I enjoy spending my spare time trying different kinds of paper crafts, but I find the process of card making most relaxing and satisfying , my style inclined more towards Clean and Simple (CAS).
I would like to thank Deepti and the Catchy girls for having me as a guest designer.

I just loved the inspiration picture .This is what I created for this month's Pinspired challenge, inspired by the black and blue from the picture.:--

A little about this card. So, staying true to my style, I've come up with this feminine birthday CAS card. CAS style is all about the design, so I tried to keep the design effective by carefully following the curve while stamping and adding the elements. The butterfly was first stamped on the card base, then it was layered with a vellum butterfly coloured in blue followed by a silver embossed butterfly on the top. I think this gives a lovely dimension to the design. :)

I hope you like the card and get inspired to come up with your card or a layout. :)

Wow!! Thank you so much Jasleen for the wonderful, elegant and beautiful card.. I love it!

And that's it friends! Hope you enjoyed this post and I hope you would like play along with our current challenge "Let's Get Pinspired'.

Thank you.. :)

CSCC #12 - Let's get 'Pinspired'

Hi Friends,

This is Smita here. This month's lovely challenge is to get inspired by this fantastic pinspiration pic.

Here is my pinspired card. I was inspired by the lacey skirt and lovely colors..one of the best color combinations.

This card has very simple elements like a textured card base, with printed vellum. Then a dry embossed blue card stock with Black lace , vellum frame and some glitter die cutting. I did partial die cutting to achieve the sentiment. Then few paper roses to finish the card.

Hope you all got inspired and we will be looking forward for your take on this gorgeous pic.

CSSC #12 - more inspiration

Hello everyone, it's Rahmat here, today it's my turn to share a project at CSSC, and this month we have a picture to get you going.

I was inspired by the colors, and the dreamy feel of this picture, that's why I chose bubbles to do it.
I started with a white base, and then I took a black panel, and simply adhered a pattern paper to it, I don't know the name of the company, since this paper is bought here locally.
After that I used a silver shimmery ink and stamped some butterflies on it, and added a black ribbon, and stamped the sentiment from STAMPlorations - trendy butterflies to finish off. A very simple card.

We all are waiting to see what you all come up with. Stay tuned in for more inspiration from Catchy girls to come in next few days.

CSCC #12 - Let's get 'Pinspired'

Hello dear lovely ladies, welcome to our brand new challenge for the month of March. This is Deepti here and we have a very gorgeous 'PIN' for you today. So all you have to do is

get PINSPIRED.. ;)

Wow!! How gorgeous is that pic! I love love it.. ;) Alright, before moving on to my project I would like to share the rules and regulations. Please read them and follow them carefully.. :)

RULES/GUIDELINES

1. Create a Card or a Layout (a scrapbook page)

2. Only new work please

3. Please mention the source of your inspiration - that could be colors, cup and saucer, waiting for some one, being confident enough of something, dance and etc..

4.. You can enter twice

5. You can combine with other challenges

6. Last date - 27th of March

7. Have fun..

So here is my pinspired project, I made a card inspired by the colors and I've seen a kind of attitude in that girl like she is very confident enough and something really wonderful would going to happen! So I made it with the colors and with that kind of sentiment!

I took a standard sized cardstock and watercolored the background with markers. Then to add a little bit of texture I stamped with a regular bubble wrap. I then flicked some ink on to the card just to add a little more interest.

I then stamped flowers - Kaisercraft, and leaves -  My mind's eye, on to a piece of paper in blue and grey memento inks and fussy cut it and adhered them using foam tape..

Finally stamped the sentiment - Kaisercraft, in archival black in and added sequins - Avery Elle and Lawn Fawn, here and there. And that's it.. ;)

So that is the card from me and hope you got inspired by this pinspired project. If you do and if you wanna win a GV of Rs. 500/- from our lovely sponsor
