Step 4-Take 3 flower and press center part of flower with thumb to give shape of flower and then glue them one on each with alternating petals and give shape of flower

Step 5-After drying slightly distress petals of flowers to give natural look(not compulsary)
Step6-Place rhinestone in center, now flower is ready.

Prepared wooden spoon, Pearls, doiley, Paper flowers , Mini rose flower, Gesso, Paper leaves,Pearl string,Stamped sentiment(I took computer generated) , Diecut of your choice(I took spelbinder oval),Ribbon,Some laces,Chip board decorative swirl (I gesso'd it),Net cloth.

Meet our Awesome Guest Designer - DONNA MIKASA

Wohooo! I'm so happy, thrilled and excited to invite our August Guest Designer

I love her work a lot and she is one of my greatest inspirations... It's our great pleasure to have you here..
Welcome Donna.. :)

Over to Donna

Aloha! I’m Donna Mikasa and I was born and raised in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. My blog is three umbrellas ( and I am happy to be guesting here at Catchy Challenges!

When Deepti mentioned that the theme was PATTERNED PAPER, I made a banner using papers from Avery Elle, along with their banner dies. I finished off the card with some tiny butterflies, also punched out of Avery Elle’s patterned papers, and a sentiment from Paper Smooches.

Thank you, Deepti, for having me as your guest designer for August!

And here is her beautiful card!

1. Use a banner die (I used Avery Elle’s Dotted Elle-ments) or cut by hand some banner flags out of patterned paper.
2. Attach a piece of twine or cord across your card.
3. Attach banners to the cord, letting some overlap a bit.
4. Punch out small butterflies from patterned paper and attach them to the banners and card.
5. Tie two bows out of cord and attach them to the ends of the banner.
6. Stamp desired sentiment.

Wow!! How awesome is your card! Love those banners and cute little butterflies.. Thank you so much Donna for being our guest!!

Ok friends! Hope you guys got inspired.. And one more thing, Donna will be offering a prize pack for September winners... I don't wanna reveal anything what you people are going to get.. It's really a big surprise!! Just wait for the reveal!!!:D

Introducing Our New DT Member - Somdeepa Das

Hello dear friends! This is Deepti Stephens here introducing our one of the most talented girl,

I love her card making style a lot. SO trendy!

A little bit about Somdeepa

Hi everybody, this is Somdeepa Das here from Kolkata. I have just begun my college life and I am an Economics student of Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
I have been crafty since childhood but I have started blogging about it recently and am enthralled with the crafter's community in blogland. I love the CAS style of card making. As I own only some very basic craft supplies, I continually make do with stuff I find around me. Thus you will often find fake calligraphy in my cards instead of sentiment stamps! I try to create whatever captures my imagination but I enjoy making cards the most.
I am very proud to be a part of the wonderful DT here at Create Something Catchy Challenges. I look forward to a period of sharing and hopefully inspiring some of you with my creations!

And here is her card for the current challenge

Oh wow! Look how beautifully she arranged the pps.. Awesome!  <3 So glad to have you on the team!

Ok then.. see you soon guys! Take care.. :)

This is Tanvi wishing you all a very good Saturday morning.
We have some very talented ladies joining our team & I take pleasure in introducing our newest teamie   - Shylaashree - the master quiller.

I am Shylaashree from Adhiraacreations, mother of two awesome kids and working as an Executive secretary in Titan Company Limited.

Since then I have become totally hooked on to quilling. My core strength is jewellery designing (was a designer sometime for Tanishq & Goldplus) /making and wall decors.  I look forward to working with the other DT members. I feel that being part of this team will be a challenge and yet I hope that my work challenges those who participate.

We are so glad to have you on board ! And here is the inspiration for this months challenge -
