Baby Boy..

Hiii!!

Well.. Let me take this oppurtunity to invite our second Special Guest Designer. She's one of my good blog buddies. I love her work and card making style a lot. She's really cool with digis and diecuts.. All I can say is her cards has got this Hi Five look, very classy, very elegant.. Ok without further ado... Please welcome

My name is Pia and I live in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
I've always been crafting, and there aren't many things I haven't tried. Before I started card making my preferred activities were knitting, cross stitching and making jewelry with beads.
I came across stamping and cardmaking after reading a Magnolia magazine during the summer of 2011.  I was so impressed with all those fabulous cards, but it took me about 6 months to build up the courage to get started, as I had to overcome my biggest fear - coloring! A month or two later, in February last year, I started  my blog. And I've been addicted to card making ever since  and haven't spent much time on my other hobbies! I love spending time visiting blogs as I find so much inspiration out there in blogland!

and here is her beautiful inspiration!!

Oh! Love this card! Thanks so much Pia for making this wonderful card and taking part in
Catchy Challenges..:)

Ok guys! Leave Pia some love by visiting her blog and see you again on 20th...

Take care..

So Happy For You!

Hii everyone!!

This is Deepti here to share a card with you made as an inspiration. Well... Hope you guys are enjoying and loving the present challenge colors Blue and Brown.. We had many awesome inspirations from Hussena, Poornima and  from Itsy Bitsy. I'm so happy that Itsy Bitsy is the main sponsor for these challenges.. :) I would like to thank Sunehra and Itsy Bitsy team for their kindness..  Thank you good people.. :)

Yeah! I made a card using a cute digi from Minkie's Paper Paradise, it's a freebie.. :)
I've colored the couple, this time not with the markers but with Faber Castell Water Color Pencils. I had a little trouble coloring these images but later I got used to it.. :D

Have you noticed the doiley, this is my first card with a doiley.. And the BG is a PP and I've paper pieced the tiny flowers using a blue paper..

That's all for now and see you on 15th with more inspiration.. :)

Take care!

An inspiration from Itsy Bitsy

Hi everyone, it's Sunehra from Itsy Bitsy and I am thrilled to present an inspiration from Itsy Bitsy for the current challenge here at Catchy Crafts. As you know Itsy Bitsy is India's number ONE hobby and craft supplier and using some of the amazing products at Itsy Bitsy, I created this CAS card inspired by the absolutely gorgeous and DELICIOUS image that Deepti has offered.

I started with a gorgeous brown glitter sheet from ItsyBitsy and layered it with white card stock embossed with the ItsyBitsy cupcake embossing folder. Since the image was cupcakes, I couldn't resist bringing the cupcakes to the card. Most of you know that I am addicted to bows but I didn't have a turquoise ribbon to match the color scheme. So I  decided to make bow out of paper (to see how I did it, watch the video tutorial later in this post). Finally I cut out 2 embossed cupcakes, colored them and added them to the sentiment at the bottom.

For a detailed look at how I made this card from start to finish, including how the bow was put together and the little cupcakes were colored, be sure to watch this video tutorial.

Well that's about it from me. I hope you enjoyed this card and the video tutorial. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing your take on this delightful inspiration. Don't forget to pop by the ItsyBitsy Blog later tonight for the template of the paper bow and the supplies used in this project.
